P.S. Hope you didn’t bet your flat on the Russian. Told you, I’m off men. Too much stress!

Glad to hear you’re missing me! My leg has reached peak itchiness. Thankfully I had a knitting needle from that kit we both bought after the beginners’ workshop. It’s perfect for scratching down inside the cast, but I think I might actually start knitting something – might have a scarf for you by the time you get home!
Btw, I was expecting more from you on the Greg thing – mainly because you didn’t even ask how I ended up seeing him, when I’m stuck here with this affliction? I’m actually quite good on the crutches. My mum came and took me down to Costa – I nearly cried! I hate being stuck inside, especially when you’re over there, doing the most exciting things ever.
Buy me a handbag made from yak wool, or whatever weird animals they have over there.
Andy and Elaine are coming over later with Domino’s and the new Halloween DVD. I’d say ‘what has my life become?’, but it’s better than sitting here on my own. At least I got out to the quiz the other night … I might replace you with Sheila long term (as if).
Keep having fun!
Love,

She’s done an excellent job with my hair. The tub of magical conditioner followed by her careful, methodical brushing with a Tangle Teezer has worked wonders. I need to dye it now, of course, to complete the effect. The henna is faded and it’s about time I went back to my dark-blonde roots. Maybe a bit of bleach through the ends, to give it a sun-kissed look.
I used the time while she was in the shower to check Sam’s Facebook again. Latest update: photo of him gurning disrespectfully outside a temple. What did I ever see in him? Then I had a quick root through Carrie’s bag, being careful to put everything back where I found it. I tried to check her phone but she’s got a password on there, so I had a squizz at her laptop instead.
‘How are the shorts?’ she says, glancing down at me as we walk. ‘The T-shirt really suits you, you know.’
