She kicked the wad of paper away as they walked out. It was time to put Casey on the back burner until she had found some answers to the slew of questions she had. Before all that, though, she’d have to deal with Sacha Oblonsky. Her cousin wasn’t hyped about a woman running the family next and had told Nina that when she’d informed him she was still alive.
“Do you want to set a meeting with the family?” Nina asked.
“No, I want to talk to Sacha. He might have something important to say before I pull his balls off and shove them in his mouth. That message will get through to the rest of my loving family when I display his head at the next family meeting.”

Emma finally closed the door of their bedroom after a night of catching up with her old friends the Raths and their beautiful boy JC. The older the little boy got, the less he resembled the family he was born into. That Giovani Bracato’s grandson would grow up to be a dairy farmer was probably bothering him more than the flames of hell if he could see beyond the grave.
“God, I can’t wait to take this bra off,” she said as she locked the door. Cain was already undressing by the bed, and she stopped to watch.
“Need help with that?” Cain asked, facing her with her shirt open.
“You know something, mobster?” she asked as she stepped closer.
“What’s that?” Cain lifted her sweater over her head and threw it on the floor.
She wasn’t about to fuss about misplaced laundry now. “From the day we met, I’ve craved you touching me. You’d think it would’ve calmed down after all these years, but the urge only gets stronger.” She smiled when Cain reached behind her and unfastened her bra. “Is it like that for you?” Cain glanced down when Emma put her hands on her belt.
“Always, lass, you know that. There’s never been a moment I haven’t wanted you.”
“I don’t know if that’s exactly true, but I’m glad it is now.” She left the belt hanging open and started on the buttons of Cain’s jeans. They were both tired, but she’d been staring at Cain all night and hadn’t been alone with her since that morning. She put her hand between Cain’s legs and smiled at her hard clit. “Can I do something for you, baby?”
“You can now,” Cain said, her voice tight.
