There were perks to the family business. She liked fucking and demanded someone whose job it was to fulfill her every desire, in or out of bed. That the world wanted to punish them for this was idiotic. Her father always said there were people born to rule and people born to serve. It was the law of nature, and if you didn’t understand that, it meant you were born a sheep.
Abigail’s body before the kids was something she’d enjoyed, but the ravages of pregnancy were hard to hide. In the end she’d felt more of a desire to choke the life out of her wife than any desire to touch her.
“When I find you, I might ignore all the flaws and fuck you one more time before I kill you. That’ll be your final lesson that you’re mine, and no one else is allowed to touch you.” She’d do it in front of Finley Abbott to show her the mistake she’d made in getting involved. “Once you see me fuck Abigail, I’m going to put a bullet through your head.”
It surprised her, but the headache had gotten better. “Finding the two of you should be the cure,” she said and laughed.
Chapter Nineteen
“You think this woman is armed?” Remi asked as she put her guns on before they landed.
“I would be,” Cain said as they started their descent. “Bender has to know that if Nicola catches up to her, she’s dead. The sad part is her death will come with the blessing of Linda’s mother, who wants her sons back.” She yawned as she finished her coffee, knowing they had plenty to do before she’d get home to Emma and the kids. “My mum would’ve never sacrificed one of her children no matter what we’d done.”
“It cements what we’ve thought about these people all along. They’re proud of who they are, which will make this a nightmare until it’s done.” Remi put her jacket back on and sat next to her to buckle her seat belt. “The one good thing that’s come of this is we’ll be family if Kristen and Muriel work out.”
“I owe you for finding Dallas. Who knew back then that her sister would be the cure for Muriel’s heartbreak?”
“She’s still thinking about that fed?” Remi seemed surprised.
