After dinner, Jane and I went to the club. My dad wanted me to have a driver because he wants to make sure that I get home and to the club safely, even though he knows I can handle myself.

My mom also asked me where Killian was, and I told her that I didn't know. She knew I was lying.

But I can't wait to see my mom's face when she sees Killian, especially my dad's because he will definitely be giving Killian a hard time.

As we walk inside the club, we hear music blasting through the speakers, and we see people dancing and swaying their hips side to side. The lights in the room are flashing so many different colors, making you think you were in a different world.

I had reserved a private room tonight since I invited some of my friends so that we could all hang out in there instead of worrying about getting groped by random people on the dance floor.

Jane and I walk up to the private room and there is also a security guard in front of the door. He already knows who I am, so he opens the door and then I see decorations and balloons around the entire room.

"Surprise!" my friends all say, as they put their hands in the air.

I feel a small smile come on my face. "Thank you, guys."

My friends Leila and Carson walk towards me and wrap their arms around me.

"Happy birthday, beautiful," Carson says.

"Thank you," I say and let go of them.

I look behind them and I see Cameron, Julian, and Mason.

I walk towards Julian and Mason and hug them, and they hug me back. "Happy birthday, Thalia," Mason says as he hugs me with Julian.

"Thank you. I am so happy you guys are here." I say and unwrap my arms from around them. "I missed you guys."

"Well, you are always busy so it's hard to get you to hang out with us," Julian jokes.

I give him a fake smile and look at Jane who tries to refrain from laughing.

Yea I am definitely busy but not with what he thinks.

"Yea I just have been busy with family stuff," I lie.

I feel hands on my waist making me look up and see Cameron. "Hello, baby," he says and leans down and captures my lips with his. I kiss him back and I feel his other hand slide on my waist, holding me against him. "Happy birthday, gorgeous," he mumbles against my lips.

I remove my lips from his so that we don't get too heated in front of everyone. "Thank you," I smile at him.

Cameron isn't my boyfriend.

He is more of a fuck buddy.
