Chapter 6

“Chalo then, Bhai, I’ve called my pals. Get ready we have to move at six”.

Six was the time which sends a shiver down Jenny’s spine. It rang her bell… Oliver was shouting from his room calling his didi for his brut deo. And Jenny could not hear him. “What’s wrong with you, deeds' Where’s my favourite deo? Oh! (relishing realising) it’s there in my wardrobe.

“You are such a jerk. You are so lost di?” Shutup! Mom see… she is lost again”. Her mother came and was shocked to see Jenny in her same ragged clothes.

“Are you not going Jenny” Mom.

“Yes mom”, Jenny No, get ready beta” mother.

Jenny hurriedly went inside her room to change-where she took out her mobile from her drawer which was in the silent mode. She saw three messages and all were from John. Oh! How much she had missed him!

They were all normal messages which somehow did not excite Jenny and she was not happy to receive them. Then, she dialed John.

Jenny: Hello! John.

John: Haa… Hi! Jenny just hold on… I am changing.

Jenny: (In a mocking state) I wish my cell was a camera!

John: What? (Happy to hear this) trying to confirm what did you say? You really want to see me?

Jenny: Just kidding buddy!

John: No! You are not kidding now.

Jenny: (Scared) nahi yaar, I was just saying.

John: That you wanna see me… right?

Jenny: Yes!(Instantly) John I’ve imagined a lot!

John: Even I have. Probably next week or next month I am free. Pray that I come to Kanpur. What do you say?
