Jenny: “Yaa… (feeling embarrassed) hey I totally forgot… “Congrats, dear!

Julia: (Finally) “Now, tell me. What’s going on… Jenny? I’ve been noticing this, since I came. Come on, you can share… I do share my secrets with you, dear. And you know, by sharing we only lessen the burden.”

Jenny: (A little hesitant ) it’s just. A little personal.

Julia: “now, what’s personal dear? We’re quite close buddies! Aren’t we? If you don’t feel like..Then I won’t force you! Anyways… I’m leaving! I just came here to share the news with you. Now, cheer up! Chalo, we can at least have maggi together! I guess… aunty is preparing it downstairs?”

Jenny: (Now smiling) we surely will…

Chapter 30

The two friends were savouring their favourite maggi in the drawing room. As they watched their pet-youth channel - MTV and guess, it was the girls’ favourite show being aired. When Jenny feeling better exclaimed, “Wow! See the way Anusha talks yaari She does style check the best! I think nobody can do it better. She’s just so perfect!”

And here’s Julia, with her own interests, “Oh! Come on Jenny, look at what she’s wearing! Wow! Cool! And… So hip! The perfect short colourful tee teamed with a legging, on top of that a skirt! So chic! Yaar…

Jenny: “Yaa… It does look good on her! Even her hair… they are so very long and straight and her posture! Her bangles… Wow! Stylish naa…

Julia: “Yaa… None, you are sounding normal now. Back as my buddy!”

Jenny: “Oh! Really (recalling) I… (thinking) thanks… dear.”

Julia: “Well… Why thanks? Welcome,, anyways.”

Jenny: “Yaa… (Why thanks)… (Still thinking).

Julia: “Hey, it’s getting late and I guess… I have to leave. All I have to say is - the Jenny who I know is so damn positive and cheerful! So, be like her… And is also a chatter box (haha) whatever happened… Just leave that! And I know you are brave.

If it’s very personal… So I leave it to you. But… 1 advice.

Life is to move on… I’ve never seen you like this. So better cheer up! So, can I hope, aunty knows? About it, dear}.

Jenny: “Yaa…she does.”

Julia: “Then surely you’ll soon be out of it! Good luck and god bless you! Take care bye Jenny!”

Jenny: “Thanks and bye, Julia!

Chapter 31

”Now these lines made Jenny take a walk down the memory lane. The days when she laughed, giggled and all her being so happy, all by herself! But… She was not all alone. Was she happy? In spite of everybody around. Her loving mom, whom she had shared every bit of her life with, her caring dad who got all the gifts which she craved for and ever her brother, Oliver who teased her yet loved his di so much! In spite of all this, even Jenny’s own positivity and her zest for life! Where had all of them gone? When her closest buddy came by and just said - “Where is my good old, Jenny?”
