Addison had been in Italy, visiting the famous Via Monte Napoleone as she did twice a year, perusing the selections in the upscale shops, and finding the latest and the greatest suits to fill her wardrobes. With hotel suites in most of the major countries across Europe, not to mention the wardrobes at the Langham and in her home at The Oaks, her outing took several days to complete and on one of those days, a suit displayed on a mannequin caught her eye.

There was absolutely nothing masculine about it. Made of the finest Australian Merino wool, the fabric was soft and the drape loose. The lack of lapels and pockets on the suit jacket appealed to her, and while overall the outfit seemed relaxed in fit, it was definitely not made for casual outings.

She had purchased it on a whim, a sudden unexplained need to have something else besides lingerie to announce her gender, but until that moment, Addison had forgotten it existed. Rushing over, she held her breath as she unzipped the bag, but as soon as she eyed the contents, she smiled.

Addison and Joanna exited their rooms at the same time, but while Addison had somehow suddenly lost the ability to walk, Joanna had not. With her eyes riveted on Addison, Joanna slowly sashayed from the east wing on three-inch heels, and her admiration of the woman who was her wife grew every step of the way.

Joanna had expected to see Addison wearing yet another black or gray suit, but while she pegged the color, that was all she pegged. Instead of a starched and stuffy manly outfit, the one Addison was wearing was sophisticated and designed with a woman in mind. The popped collar of the jacket added attitude fitting of Addison, but by wearing the banded collared gauze shirt underneath, it transformed the attitude into something far more sensuous. As if posing for a magazine shoot, the woman stood motionless with on hand stuffed into her trouser pocket, and Joanna came to a conclusion. If Addison had wanted to go on the prowl, she’d be a very busy woman.

Addison parted her lips, sliding her tongue over them to replace moisture that had somehow just evaporated, and she found herself facing a dilemma. Enthralled, Addison couldn’t decide whether to focus on the shapely thigh making an appearance with every step Joanna took or the plunge of the neckline showing just enough of Joanna’s cleavage to make Addison’s heart race. Doing an incredibly slow slide with her eyes, when they returned to meet Joanna’s, Addison breathed, “Wow.”
