- About the Author
I look at my dad and walk to sit in the chair in front of his desk. "Better. I was just going to go workout but the workers outside said you are moving the gym."
"Yea, I just want to get started on the redesign. It will give us more space in the gym since I want to put in the boxing ring there."
After a few days of resting my dad came inside my room to talk about how stupid I was when I left without Alexander. He told me not to do something like that again.
"Oh."
"Why? Were you going to go work out or something?"
"Yeah, I wanted to get back in the gym and start working out and training again."
"The gym won't be done till the end of the week. You can go use Alexander's gym. I know his gym is big enough for the both of you."
The problem with that is Alexander and I haven't talked since the day we left Moscow. He hasn't come to the house, and I haven't made any move to talk to him.
We still have yet to talk about the wedding but I’m hoping that if I don’t bring it up then we hopefully won’t move forward with it.
"Alexander's gym?" I repeat and raise my eyebrows.
My dad looks up at me. "What's the issue?"
"It's Alexander," I deadpan.
"And?" My dad stares at me and raises his eyebrow. "I still don't see the issue, Thalia."
I let out an annoyed sigh. "I just don't want to see him."
My dad rolls his eyes. "This little feud between you two has to stop. Go."
"Dad-"
"I said go, Thalia, before I drag you there myself," my dad cuts me off and looks back down at his papers on his desk.
I refrain from arguing and I get out of my chair and walk out of his office.
I really really don't want to go but I also really need to go to the gym.
Damn it.
I walk out of the front door and go to where my car is parked. Once I get inside the car I drive out of the estate and down the street.
I really don't feel like facing him or just being near him.
Call me a wimp, but Alexander is the one person I am scared of. Something about him just makes me weak, mentally and physically. And now that we have had sex it's even scarier and it makes me feel even more vulnerable to him.
The drive to Alexander's house isn't long. His security lets me in, and I park next to one of his many sports cars.
