- About the Author
I needed more. I pushed deeper into her, faster. Her mouth met mine, still eager, and I could barely contain the soft groans leaving my body. She felt…so good. Her hands pulled against my hips, urging me on. I felt lightheaded, like I was floating, and the only thing that existed anymore was pure, perfect, escalating pleasure. And then I felt it, that moment of no return. My head started lowering to her shoulder as my body clenched in preparation, but Kiera stopped my descent with a hand on my cheek. She wanted to watch, like I had watched her. I grabbed her other hand, clenching it tight, and then the release hit me.
My eyes closed as the building pressure shifted to outright bliss. I didn’t want to be quiet—it was so intense—but I needed to be as silent as possible, so I bit my lip and struggled to not let it out. And that was when I felt Kiera stiffen and heard her let out a ragged exhale, coming again, prolonging the moment for me. Fuck…yes. Bliss slowly shifted into peace as I collapsed onto her body, satisfied in every way.
Nothing compared to making love to her…except…being loved by her.
Kiera and I fell asleep, lightly kissing, and even though I knew the floor would leave me sore in the morning, I’d never been happier.
I woke up to the feeling of Kiera snuggling into my body. Smiling, I tightened my arm around her waist, pulling her into me. “Mornin’,” I murmured. Then I inhaled and stretched, and as predicted, every point of contact hurt. Well worth the pain though.
Especially when I felt Kiera kiss my neck. “Good morning, yourself,” she told me. I felt her hovering over me, and I could almost sense her smile. “Merry Christmas, Kellan.”
Opening my eyes, I drank her in. Then I reached out for that beautiful, smiling face. “Merry Christmas, Kiera.” Gently wrapping my fingers around her neck, I started pulling her toward my mouth.
That was when her bedroom door opened. I froze, wondering if I was about to get my ass kicked, but then I heard Anna’s voice. “Kiera? Where are you?”
Kiera sat up to look at her sister. I took the opportunity to study Kiera: the edge of the blanket clenched tight around her chest, messy hair spilling over her shoulders, a slight flush to her cheeks. Damn, she was gorgeous. Did we have time for another round?
