As my belly continued to expand, we had to get more creative with our sexual positions. Some of the old standbys were no longer comfortable, so we found some creative, new favorites that worked. Sam seemed to love my fuller, rounder body. His open perusal and obvious approval of my pregnant form made me feel sexy and completely hot for him. He was insatiable in his need for me. Likewise, I couldn’t seem to get enough of him. I had been concerned that our passion for each other would burn out quickly, since it was so intense, but it was showing no signs of waning.
I don’t know if my pregnancy hormones were making me extra horny or if I really just couldn’t get enough of this man, but we were like sex fiends. Sometimes we made love three or four times a day. We chuckled about how ridiculous it was, acting like horny teenagers, but before we knew it, we’d be naked again, wrapped in each other’s arms, his thick cock sliding in and out of me as I cried out his name, always aching for more. I know it was strange, but I felt empty when he wasn’t inside me, filling me, completing me.
He was incredibly tender with me, and he loved to talk to Peaches. Each morning in the shower, he would kneel down before me, soap up my big, bare belly and have a whispered, one-way conversation with Peaches as he rubbed my breasts and tummy. It was beyond sweet, and it made me love him even more, as if that were possible.
It was a magical time in my life, as long as I managed to ignore what was happening all around us. A huge pier and marina were being built along the lakeshore. The structures were moving along remarkably fast. All it takes is money, I thought to myself whenever I was confronted with the changing view along the lake.
Many of the stores along the lake had already been torn down. The few remaining businesses were starting to really stick out. Joe’s Restaurant was still open, but was facing mysterious delivery problems. Once he got the liquor license issue worked out, he started to have troubles with his suppliers. I had the feeling that Sam liked to play dirty in his business dealings, and I didn’t like how that made me feel.
The consignment shop on the corner, where I had bought my purple handbag, had changed its banner from being unwilling to sell to “Going Out of Business Sale.” I wondered what had happened to change her mind, but then decided it was probably best if I didn’t know.
