If one wishes, the wife may be given a short headstart, say, some ten or fifteen minutes. The husband then trails her. This can be delightful, but it can also go wrong. There are ways of covering trails which would make it a chore for a bloodhound to follow one. If she doesn’t leave a reasonable trail to follow they could both end up in the boondocks. This fantasy, incidentally, should not be enacted in nature if there is any danger of the partners becoming lost.

A tent, with its privacy, can serve well enough for a teepee. A small camp can serve well enough for the tiny camp of a brave with his capture, a caught white woman. Indians, of course, often found more of interest in white women than their hair. It was not unknown for them to be carried off and used as slaves. Their position in the Indian camp, of course, was miserable. They were lower than squaws and squaws hated them, and could beat them with sticks to make them do their work. In the teepee, of course, they were only a despised woman of another race, a female of the enemy. Further, of course, she stood outside the family and friendship ties of the camp. An Indian girl of one’s own tribe would always be the daughter of another warrior, etc., and so, of course, could not be seen as pure female. The white captive, of course, could be so seen. What does the tribe care what he does to her? The more he abuses her and the more harshly he treats her, the more they will be pleased. Also, of course, we note, that Indians, even in their own communities, are not famous for chivalry to women, even their own. The lot of the white slave girl of an Indian master would not be an easy one. She would well learn what it would be to be a simple female at the mercy of men. She would learn it in the camp and, at night, she would learn it in the teepee of her master.

This fantasy, of course, need not be enacted outdoors. It, like any other, can be happily enacted in the bedroom. Indeed, it can be experimented with, and developed, in the bedroom and then, later, if the partners wish, taken outdoors. It may, of course, happily remain, too, in the bedroom, which can be, to the lovers, a thousand different worlds.

If horses, incidentally, are used, the woman should never be bound on the horse. The danger of a fall is too great. The same caution is lodged, incidentally, against even binding her ankles, with bonds passing under the horse’s belly. In no fantasy should there be any risk of actual danger. Similarly, if the woman is bound, she should never be left unattended, even for a moment. In the open there can be various dangers, for example, from animals or snakes.
