“Oh my God! See?” he yelled, waving an arm around so hard I was afraid he might take flight at any moment. “I didn’t even know she was allergic to anything. I could have fed her peaches or apricots and given her a horrible rash.” I had told him that story to ease his mind, but now Axel was in full-blown panic mode, pacing the floor and running his hand through his hair until it stood up on end.
I stepped in front of him and put my arms around his neck. “Hey, calm down. She’s actually outgrown that, and she’s not allergic to any foods that we know of now. If she still had a food sensitivity, I would have told you that before you took her to eat. My point was that every parent makes mistakes. No one is perfect, so don’t sweat over something that you may or may not do wrong in the future.”
Ax grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. “Some beautiful girl once told me that love doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be present.”
Yeah, that had been me. A few months after Axel had given me the Tenderheart Care Bear, I had accidentally knocked over one of those wax warmers on my dresser, and some of the wax had gotten on the bear’s leg. I was upset at first, and Ax had promised he would buy me a new one. I realized then that I didn’t want a new one. I wanted that one because it was the one he had given me the first night he said he loved me. “It’s okay, baby. This is the one I want, even with a little bit of wax on his leg. Love doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be present.” I couldn’t believe he remembered that after all these years. It made me sad to think about how I had left the bear and other mementos behind when I left Texas. I would give anything to have all that stuff back right now.
I nuzzled his jaw and said, “She sounds very wise. I bet she gives great head, too.”
“The best,” he said with a chuckle, bending his head to nip at my lips as his dick hardened against my stomach. “Let’s go upstairs for the continuation of your relaxation experience.”
Oh. Hell. Yes. As tired as I was, the thought of making love with Axel already had my panties soaked.

When we got upstairs to Axel’s bedroom, he slowly removed my dress and bra and folded them neatly on his dresser before removing my shoes. He kissed my forehead and said, “Lay on the bed facedown, baby.” My body shivered in anticipation as I crawled on his bed. What did he have planned for me tonight? He hadn’t even removed my panties.
