“She’s the daughter of the devil, and most of these demons are low tier. Should be in and out.” Dax nods his head again.

“After your mission is complete, come back for the next.”

Dax hands me the file. “Dax, can you give my dad and me a minute?”

“Sure,” he says, squeezing my hand.

“Thank you for trusting me with an actual mission.”

My dad hugs me, and it brings me back to all my birthdays. I feel his love for me in his hug.

“Of course. Is there something else, Blair?”

We separate from our hug.

“If a soul were to, I don’t know, end up in Hell. And I really wanted this soul to have a corporeal body. Is that something you would do for me?”

My father grins at me. “Better yet, darling. I’ll teach you how to do it myself.”

“Oh, and can my familiar stay here when Dax and I are on missions?”

“Of course, darling.”

I hug him again. The hug is tight and warm. “Thanks, Dad.”

“Always, my dearest Blair.”

He sits at his desk, and I leave the office, taking Dax’s hand in mine. “Everything all right?” he asks.

“It will be,” I reply.

“The kraken realm is no joke. You sure you’re up for this?”

“Absolutely,” I reply. He smiles as he portals us to a dimension and it’s the start of an adventure I could have never imagined, even in my wildest dreams. No matter what color gray each day brings or what universe we’re in, we will always be at each other’s side.

Epilogue

A few decades later….

As much as this water dimension makes me itch, I don’t mind the view of Blair in a bikini. She doesn’t tan; she spells her skin to stay perfectly pale as it is. Her snake basks in the sun next to her—hopefully he can chill in Hell for a while on this next mission. He takes up too much of my witch’s time.

The black bathing suit clings to her breasts, giving me an excellent view of her pierced nipples.

“We have to get back to Hell, babe.”

“But I don’t wanna,” she says, turning over on the towel giving me a gratuitous view of her ass. There’s still a small bruise on her left cheek. She never heals her bruises after a session. Our play has only gotten more intense over the years. The urge to bend over and bite it, then have my way with her, is strong.

“Sorry, babe, vacation’s over. Lucifer has a new job for us. Mara is also throwing some sort of Hell fest.” Mara has come to grow on us. She takes her job seriously as princess of Hell. Though Blair is older, it’s not a title she wanted, she wants to explore and it might sound conceited, but spend her time with me.
