Dax holds me in this position for a while, letting the crowd watch as he drips from me. I sigh contentedly, knowing that I should feel humiliated, or ashamed. All I feel is contentment and pride, I can nearly feel the jealousy radiating from the audience over Dax’s very public claim over me. He twists the swing so I can now face the audience again.
It takes me a moment to collect my thoughts but when my mind clears and I look out into the crowd, who are lightly clapping before getting out of their seats.
The amount of release is obscene as I look at the floor and Dax’s pelvis. His shadows release me as he helps me out of the harness. Helping me stand, his hands wrap around my upper arms as he kisses my forehead.
“Happy Halloween, my love.”
“Happy Halloween, daddy.” He laughs, picking me up and bringing me back to a more comfortable area.
Best Halloween ever.

Chapter 35
Dax cradles me in his arms, a soft lilac blanket wrapped around me as we sit on a red velvet couch. I really don’t have any idea where we are, but in Dax’s arms, I always feel safe.
He pats my hair, and strokes soothing circles down my back. “That was something,” he says.
“You liked it?” I ask.
“Liked it? I thought I was going to have a heart attack in front of a crowd of demons with how ridiculously sexy you looked with your ass prepped with that cute butt plug.”
My head is pressed against his heart. I hear it pounding. What we did was insanely hot, but now it’s time to face reality. I’ve been holding off on discussions of the future, but it’s obvious my abandonment issues are mocking me in the back of my mind.
“So, do you have a place to live in Hell? Or do we go back to my dad’s place?”
I pull off his lap so I can read his face. He grimaces. “I do have a place, but if you feel more comfortable in the palace, we can go there as well.”
“I’d like to see your house.”
“It’s a small apartment, nothing like Lucifer’s house.”
I place my palm against his jaw, and his skin warms mine. The light stubble makes me smile. “Anywhere with you is perfect.”
He grins at me, my favorite dimples on display. “Then let’s get out of here,” he says.
Dax’s grip is tight on my waist as he has me stand, his arm wrapping around me as he portals us to his apartment.
