He’s been so ridiculously patient with me. It’s been two weeks since our brief visit to Hell. We haven’t had sex, I can’t portal to save my life. Plus, the house still smells like dead Clover. Nothing feels right. I thought knowing what I was would make things better, but everything has been so much harder. It’s like I’m stuck in between being a witch and a demon and I’m not very good at either right now.
Not being good at things isn’t something I have ever experienced before. I’m always good at things, but lately it seems like I can’t stop failing. Since I’m part demon, I’m no longer in the coven, something I thought I wanted, but now I feel alone. I signed over Hex to Stevie who has more time to handle the day to day. I’m just not sure what my passion is anymore.
“Are you visualizing the bedroom?”
“Yes, I’m fucking visualizing the bedroom. We’ve been over this. I can’t do it!”
He arches an eyebrow at me and crosses his arms. “I’ve been patient with you, Blair. But I think you need an incentive.”
I cross my arms and match his energy. “An incentive?”
“Portal to your room and I’ll spank you and make you come. Don’t portal and I’ll just spank you to give you the cathartic release you need in the living room without letting you come.”
My cheeks heat, and I know he sees it when he smirks. To be honest, neither option is truly bad, but coming over not coming is huge. I need it. I need his hands on me, putting me in that mindless space that only he can put me in.
“So, little witch, what’s it going to be?”
“I’m not just a witch anymore.”
“You’ll always be my little witch,” he says, tucking my hair behind my ear.
“I’ll try again.”
“Attagirl, show daddy what you can do.”
My face is probably the color of a tomato as I clear my mind and picture my bedroom. The soft sheets, my plants, Fez. Then I picture exactly what Dax and I could be doing together in my room. I breathe in and out, clearing my mind of everything except the location I want to be in and what I’m looking forward to.
It’s a bit of a static feeling as I feel my body shift from where I’m standing to where I want to go. When I open my eyes, I’m greeted by Dax’s beautiful face. Green eyes shining, crinkled at the edges and his dimples on full display as he cups my face.
“Appears, my girl just needs the right motivation.”
