Like most businesses, Kane Holdings was a hectic place on Mondays. Questions or issues that had arisen in their offices across the world over the weekend would fill inboxes, and people would scurry about, putting out fires while hopefully not starting any new ones. Addison had always enjoyed the chaos, her mind so sharp that no issue was too great or question too difficult, if she had to pick a favorite day of the week, it would have been Monday. However, keeping her mind on business this particular Monday had proven difficult. Visions of the corporal delights she had shared with Joanna for three days kept intruding on her thoughts, so when quitting time approached for the rest of the people at Kane, and they scrambled to tidy their desks before walking out the door, Addison had already left the building.

Addison hadn’t intended for the kiss to go on for so long, but once she tasted Joanna’s lips, stopping didn’t seem to be an option. The kiss ran the gamut from gossamer to voracious, and when the scale tipped toward the latter, hands began to travel.

Joanna’s slipped beneath Addison’s suit jacket and found their way to her back. Dragging her nails down Addison’s spine, Joanna didn’t think twice about the marks she might be leaving for she had left them before and Addison hadn’t complained. Not even once.

Captivated by the woman in her arms, and the feel of Joanna’s tongue sweeping through her mouth, the feel of the fabric of Joanna’s blouse beneath her hand was not what Addison wanted. Tugging the shirt free from the waistband of Joanna’s skirt, Addison’s slipped her hand beneath the silk. The lace and spandex bra didn’t stand a chance as Addison pushed it upward, and feeling the creamy breast now filling in her hand, Addison broke out of the kiss. Lifting Joanna’s blouse, Addison gently squeezed the plump mound as she lowered her lips to the rose-red nipple craving attention.

A faint rap on the door reversed the two women’s polarity instantaneously. Springing apart, Joanna jammed her shirt back into her skirt while Addison hastened to straighten her jacket. Grabbing a book from the table, Addison fell into a chair, crossed her legs, and opened the novel.

Clearing her throat, Joanna called out, “Come in.”

The door opened, and Iris appeared. “Fiona thought you might like some tea before dinner,” Iris said, placing the service on a small table in front of Addison. “Should I pour?”

“Um...no, that’s fine, Iris. I’ll do it,” Joanna said. “And thank Fiona for her thoughtfulness. Will you please?”

“Of course miss,” Iris said, smiling as she headed back the way she came. “I hope you enjoy your...tea.”
