I should now like to put in a good word for square sex, provided its corners are rounded slightly. The rounding of the corners, in this context, means such things as looking into your lover’s eyes, and talking to her. She is a human being and can understand speech. She is not really a robot marked off into erogenous zones; she is a highly intelligent, sexually arousable wench. Words can be quite stimulating to a female. There is nothing surprising about this. Every man knows that he himself can be quite responsive sexually to verbal stimuli. How many men have had the delight of having their wife whisper to them in the middle of the night, in the darkness, “I want you to fuck me.” When making love to his wife, it is not a bad idea to talk to her, at least until she starts to become lost in your touch and her sensations and only wants to hold on and feel. The talk, of course, is love talk. She is a woman and, accordingly, has beauties. These should be noted and commended, and touched and kissed. Too, you can speak of her of how you felt when you first saw her, and remind her of how she looked and dressed, and acted and held herself. You can speak, too, of other exquisite times you were together and made love. She must understand that she is desirable, and that you desire her, that she is exciting, and she excites you, and that you are going to have her.
