- About the Author
“That was fun too.”
“Just fun?” he asked, pulling her into his lap.
“It was...” She swallowed thickly. “A lot of fun.”
He brought one hand to her neck, holding her gently, pressing against the delicate skin of her throat. “Just a lot of fun?”
“I would have, you know?”
“What’s that?”
She leaned in, her breath ghosting on his ear. “I would’ve fucked you in that alley.”
“Holy shit,” he muttered.
Anna kissed him, a gentle press of her lips, but he didn’t want that. He wanted all of her. He reached up to grip her hair that way she liked and pressed his tongue against the seam of her lips. He kissed her thoroughly, ravaging her mouth and keeping her where he wanted her, hands on her hips as she squirmed in his lap. When she leaned back, gasping for air, her eyes were glazed over with lust, pupils blown. He rubbed his thumb against her swollen lips.
“Can we date?” she said between gasping breaths. “Or whatever people are calling it these days? We’re dating, right?”
He reached up to smooth the lines on her furrowed brow.
Anna bit her lip. “I mean, if that’s what they call it when I want to talk about movies and suck your dick.”
“You can’t just say stuff like that.”
“But I’m kind of hoping I’m the only one doing it.”
“There’s no one else here.”
“For reals, John. I’m terrible at this, but I want to try.”
“Good. I don’t want to share, either.” He smiled as she wiggled in his lap.
“We can’t, uh, advertise it. But when we get back to LA, we could go out? For reals?” She looked up at him hesitantly, as if he would refuse, as if all he wanted was some running around in storage closets.
“Yeah, I would like that.”
“Yeah?” She got a hopeful smile on her face, and he was glad to be the one who’d put it there.
“You’ve communicated well for your first time.”
“I’m not done communicating.” Anna tried to wiggle her eyebrows. She was not successful. “Just talking.”
“Does everyone know what a huge dork you are, or only me?”
“Pretty much just you, big guy.” She slid off his lap to her knees and ran her hands up his thighs.
“We’re doing this now?” he asked, a little stunned.
She raised an eyebrow at him. “Is there somewhere else you need to be?”
“Nothing that can’t wait.” He made a move to pull down his boxer briefs, but she swatted his hands away to do it herself. Goddamn, how did I get this lucky?
