The Princess was sitting in a rocking chair in front of a window with her eyes cast down to the floor. She had her back to the front door, and was holding the envelope that The Richest Man in the World gave her. But it was empty. The Dragon waited near the door as the Writer approached her...

It was a cold night, -- whispered the Writer -- perhaps the coldest of all nights. -- The Princess looked up towards the window. -- Odai was sitting by the window of her house, gazing at the stars... she dreamt of what her life could be like if only the sign would come.

Hello, Princess.

Odai got up. She looked tired, the passing of time was visible on the Princess’ face.

It’s been such a long time.

What are you doing sitting there?

Waiting.

Waiting for what?

I don’t know.

The Dragon told me everything. It hasn’t been an easy life.

No, it hasn’t. -- The Princess lifted her hand, showing me her empty envelope. -- I lost my wealth, Writer. -- Her eyes filled with tears. -- I don’t know where to find it.

We have to go see The Richest Man in the World. He must have a copy or something.

I don’t remember where he lives. I wouldn’t know how to find him. Well, Princess, we have to go out and look, there’s no other choice. But... how? -- The Princess looked at me for a moment.

Princess, remember all the things you did without knowing how! Remember how you conquered fear! Remember when you changed my story and decided to leave the tower! Remember that woman so full of life, of courage, of strength...

That was a long time ago...

What does that matter? You are still that woman, she is within you.

I’m alone. My children have all left.

You were alone once before. You didn’t have children, you didn’t have a Prince, you had nothing... and still you carried on. Afterwards, when you left the castle and Prince Charming, you were also alone with two children and you struggled, but you made it and supported your kids. You

had to have a lot of strength for that, Princess, and a lot of courage. First, to leave Prince Charming and then to survive with your children, but you did it! All you have to do is remember who you are and who you’ve been all this time.

But I don’t have anything!

The Writer looked at her, smiled and said:

This is going to sound like a cheap self-help book, but... you have the moon, the sun and the stars. You have the clouds, you have the air that you breathe, you have the whole world in your hands, you have your eyes and your legs... and my mouth, my ears, my hands. I am alive and the possibilities are endless.
