The story doesn’t end here. It’s just beginning.

But, Princess, you’re going on your honeymoon, you’re married, your life is set. What else do you want?

I want to know what happens next.

You want to know what happens next? This story will last forever! I can’t narrate your life step by step!

Okay, okay, I agree... I’ll see you in ten years.

What?!

I’ll see you in ten years, just to find out what happens... What do you think?

Princess...

Writer pleeeeeease, I’m begging you!

Darling? -- Prince Charming poked his head out of the carriage window. -- Is there something wrong? We don’t want to miss the train, do we?

No, of course not -- said the Princess. -- Don’t worry. I’ll just be a second. -- And then she looked at the Writer with pleading eyes and such an innocent face! -- We have a deal, right? Can you do that tiny, tiny favor for me? Please tell me that we are going to see if my life is still wonderful ten years from now? Pleeeeeeeeeease? Tell me you’re not going to leave me alone. I can trust you, right? Right?! Right?! RIGHT?!

Okay, right! Right! Right! Yes! I’ll see you in ten years! Enjoy your honeymoon and congratulations. You deserve it!

Thank you, Writer. I love you! -- She ran to the carriage and got in.

I love you too, Princess.

The carriage took off with the Dragon on the roof and disappeared into the distance. They went off on their honeymoon. And we will see each other ten years from now.

Ten years had gone by since the last time the Writer had heard from the Princess and her dragon. On a day just like today, ten years ago, the Writer promised the Princess to come back to her.

The Writer was standing in the same garden, but the once wonderful garden was now a bit overgrown.

A carriage full of children stopped at the entrance.

Hurry up or the carriage will leave without you! -- The Princess was shouting from inside the castle.

Mother! He’s pulling my hair again! -- said the voice of a little girl.

Bono! -- The Princess’ voice sounded very maternal. -- Leave your sister, Yara, alone and drink your milk already, or you’re leaving without your breakfast! -- Definitely maternal.

I didn’t do anything to her, Mother! -- shouted a boy... who the Writer assumes is Bono.

Ouch! -- screamed the girl -- Mother! He’s pulling my hair again! -- ...who the Writer assumes is Yara.

All three of them walked outside the castle, the Princess holding Yara by the hand and Bono by the ear. It was a moving scene.

Good morning, Princess.

Good morning. Just the usual, please. -- And she passed me by, without even stopping to look at me!
