Okay. A little tired, but I’ll take chronic fatigue and pain over death.

Good, I think? She said she’s going to teach me how to speak Spanish. It’s exciting, but there’s part of me that’s scared she’ll disappear. I don’t know if I’ll ever not be scared of that, though.

If she does leave, then at least you tried. You won’t have to keep wondering. But I don’t think you have to worry. It’s impossible for anyone to bail once they get to know you.

I know. Maybe it’s just my writer brain talking, but I think I need to go back to being extra careful again. I don’t want to tempt fate. Like, it would suck if after you got better, I got sick and kicked the bucket.

Plus, I sort of prayed to a God that I’m not even sure I believe in that I would do anything for you to get better. Even go back to being a shut-in if that helped this virus go away faster. My superstitions got the best of me.

But when I get a vaccine in my arm, I’m going to be all over you.
