It was so cute when your moms came over and everyone took pictures of us in our yard. I have to say, we both looked pretty hot in our dresses. Your vintage black Gucci gown that you found at Moon Zooom fit you like a glove. I wish I had the boobs to pull off that sweetheart neckline, girl. But I’m not gonna lie. I loved my dress, too. I’ll never be able to repay you for finding it at Bloomingdale’s and for letting me be the one to wear it. Honestly, I’ve never felt prettier.

It was so sweet when Wes and Andrew came over and both got down on one knee when they gave us our corsages. I almost died when I saw Wes in his powder-blue tuxedo. You guys looked so fucking cute. And sigh. Andrew looked so handsome in his black tux without a tie. Very BTS inspired. I felt so lucky that he and Lizzy broke up and that he asked me to prom. I’m not even jealous that he’s valedictorian. He deserves it. And anyway, who cares. I’m going to Harvard next year!

After we took a ton of photos, the guys surprised us with a LIMO! The only time I’ve ever been in a limousine was for my grandmother’s funeral, so it was nice to get a do-over for a happy occasion. We had reservations at La Fondue before the dance, and I think I’d be perfectly happy surviving on melted cheese and melted chocolate for the rest of my life. You and Wes were SO cute together, feeding each other the whole time. Okay, fine, it was a little much, but I forgive you because I love the two of you together.

After dinner, the limo took us to the Mountain Winery and, wow… it was so beautiful. All those strung-up Edison lights and the view of the hillside. I’ve never seen so many stars in my entire life. The rest of the night is kind of a blur, TBH. I just remember we danced nonstop. And that Lizzy was totally giving me dirty looks anytime Andrew and I slow-danced together, but whatever. She never deserved him anyway.

It just felt so good to feel that happy for a night. I didn’t want anything more than what we had. You know what I mean? Truly, all that mattered is that I was there with my best friends. I love you, Gabs. I know we’ve had our ups and downs, but let’s never let anything or anyone get between us again. Promise? I promise.

So, prom was epic. But it’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’re going to be friends for the rest of our lives. We’ve got milestone birthdays, bachelorette parties, weddings, and—dare I say?—baby showers in our future. We are going to have so much to celebrate.
