- About the Author
I also forced myself to be real and break the bad news to all of the women out there who still had their hopes for me, including Victoria and Rachel. I mean, what can I do? One man can’t have them all and keep out of trouble while doing it. The bad news would have happened sooner or later, and they all took it with dignity.
“Well, let me know if you get bored with her,” Rachel joked to me. Or maybe she wasn’t joking. I wouldn’t put it past her, but I didn’t plan on going there.
As for Andrea, Corey, and Marcus Vissel—well, like they say, if you can’t say anything good about them…I wish them all well, but I won’t be back. Everybody has dark secrets in their closet somewhere. I planned to leave that closet door alone forever. I had a respectable family to raise.
Everyone started asking and rushing us about wedding dates. But Michelle and I were in no hurry. We were dating like a new couple to start things off on the right foot, and I invited my new woman and daughter to as many weekend locations as I could. That’s when I popped the question, six months later in Shanghai, China.
You already know what Michelle’s answer was. A marriage and family was what she wanted, even after the wait. And you know what? It took me a while, but I found out that’s what I wanted, too. As for everyone else out there, well, personally, I can’t make a dream come true for every woman. Nor can any other man. So the women out there all have to find out what they want for themselves, find out who’s willing to give it to them, and get what they can get while they can still get it.
Move around! And good luck!
