“Oooh, man, too hot for me.”

“What did he say?” her two girlfriends stepped up and asked her.

“He said everything is nice…and big.”

They screamed out laughing and got a chuckle out of me.

Before anything else could happen with the Latinas, TaShay and her friend Tan pulled up in front of me in a dark Honda Civic.

“We didn’t keep you waiting too long, did we?” TaShay asked me through the window.

I raised my index finger and thumb and told her, “Just a little bit.”

She looked at me and grinned. “That’s all I want, too.”

Her friend Tan broke out laughing from the driver’s side of the car. I couldn’t see her that good yet, but she sure laughed hard. She laughed like she had no shame.

I said, “What are you laughing at? Get on out the car and let me see what you look like.”

“What?” Tan responded. “He don’t know me like that.”

I could see what kind of broad she was, and if I didn’t straighten her ass out immediately, it would be a long night for all of us. So I walked around to the driver’s side of the car and just stared into her face for a minute. And damn if she didn’t look good. Her face was much thinner than Kimora Lee Simmons’s; she was golden brown, with extra dark eyes, and her hair was either dyed light or naturally light. However, she had a rough edge about her. I could read it in those fierce eyes of hers. I don’t think she liked guys that much. She liked girls, girls she could bug out with and overrule.

Instead of saying anything confrontational, I nodded my head and told her, “Yeah, you look good,” and that was it. I planned to freeze her out for awhile and see how she responded to that.

She caught me off-guard when she responded, “Yeah, you look good, too, but that don’t mean you can boss me around.”

I joked and asked her, “You wanna boss me around?”

She said, “That’s the only way I get down.”

Her bold comment made TaShay laugh. I imagined that both of them together would be something else to handle.

I said, “Okay, so, where are we off to?”

“TaShay knows all of that. Ask her. I’m just the driver.”

“Is that all you’re gonna do tonight?” I teased her.

She looked me up and down and said, “We’ll see.”

“What I got to do with it?” I asked her.

She made it appear as if her decisions depended on me.

“You don’t have nothing to do with it,” she snapped at me.

I figured I needed to quit while I was ahead with that girl. But before I did, I stated, “I hope somebody gives you what you’re needing.”

TaShay laughed so hard she had to stick her face out the window for more air. Even Tan was forced to laugh. It was a perfect comeback line, but I wasn’t trying to score any cool points with it, I was just letting the girl know I was no amateur.
