- About the Author
“She’s always protective of me when she first meets people.”
“So, you guys meet a lot of people together? You know, usually a girlfriend couple keeps things to themselves,” I assumed.
“Why, because you figure we have something to hide?”
“You tell me. Do you?”
She paused for a moment. I wasn’t going to say anything to alarm her. I wanted to take it slow and easy with her. I had all night to get to the truth.
“Where are you right now?” she asked. Andrea had a habit of doing that whenever she didn’t want to answer something; she would just change the subject.
“I’m on anther photo shoot out in the Bay Area.”
“San Francisco?”
“Yeah.”
“I love that city,” she told me. “Now I’m thinking about going to Tampa Bay for a boat party.”
“A boat party? Who invited you?” I asked her.
“Some friends of friends.”
I had never been on a Tampa Bay boat party before, but I had heard about them. It made me curious. I wouldn’t mind a boat party myself. I had been on a riverboat party before in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but that was about it. I hadn’t even tried the riverboats in Cleveland, only a state away from home.
“Well, let me know how it is when you get back,” I told Andrea. “I might want to go on the next one.”
“Okay. So, you’re gonna be back in Chicago on Monday?”
“I could be, and all I have to do is take a Tuesday-morning flight back out to Atlanta. But that’s if I have a reason to stay in Chicago,” I hinted.
“Why did you stay in Chicago last night?” she asked me.
“So I could get out to L.A. sooner without killing myself.”
“L.A.?” she asked me. “I thought you said you were in San Fran.”
“Yeah, my mistake, I’m tripping. I guess I’m always thinking of L.A. when I fly west, just like you normally have to fly out of Chicago or Dallas-Fort Worth when you’re flying from the East Coast.
“When was the last time you’ve been out here on the West Coast?” I asked her. I took a breath and kept my cool after my slipup.
“I’m always back and forth,” she told me.
“What about Brazil?”
“What about her?”
“Does she travel a lot, too?”
“I’ll let you ask her that on Monday.”
I paused. “So, you’re telling me that you guys will give me a reason to stay the night.”
“If that’s what you want,” she answered.
Now I figured the truth would come out in time. There was no sense in forcing it over the phone. I was still curious about a threesome anyway.
I said, “Okay, I’ll make that happen then.”
“Well, stay safe in San Fran and call me when you get here on Monday.”
Just like that, Andrea was off the phone, and I was pretty much set for my first experience with two women, though I still didn’t know how I felt about it. I just laid there and held the cell phone in my hand for a moment. Then I decided to call TaShay to see where she was with her friend. I still had a couple of days and nights out in L.A. to assess my feelings before I faced Andrea in Chicago. There was no sense in me stressing. I had to take my mind off of it and enjoy myself in L.A.
