With a final thrust, Jill fell over the edge, not only from Reagan’s touch, but from the way she screamed Jill’s name and held her close with a tight grip on her neck as she came. She groaned as the climax washed over her and light flashed in front of her eyes. It took all of her strength to keep her eyes open and maintain the connection they shared.
Jill closed the distance and brushed her lips against Reagan’s, their rapid breaths mingling between them. “You’re incredible,” she murmured against her lips before kissing her again.
As the pulses around her fingers stopped, Jill slowly withdrew her fingers and Reagan sucked in a breath. “I could say the same thing about you. Where did all that come from?”
She shrugged. “I just needed you. All of you.”
“I’m not complaining,” Reagan replied with a chuckle.
Jill gently rolled off Reagan and settled on her side with her head propped in her hand. She stared at Reagan, relishing the sleepy contentment on her face as she pulled the sheet up to cover their bodies. She loved when Reagan got like this, and she loved that she could do this to her. Jill stiffened for a moment. Love? No way. Not yet. I don’t do love. Well, maybe she could. Reagan was certainly showing her it was possible. But what if she hurt Reagan? She closed her eyes at the sharp pain that thought brought to her.
She must have stayed silent for too long because Reagan cupped her cheek and asked, “You okay?”
Jill licked her lips as she processed the speeding thoughts going through her mind. “I, um…” Even if she did love her, she couldn’t tell her that yet. It was too soon and Reagan could still realize that Jill wasn’t the one for her. She cleared her throat. “Do you have any plans in the morning?”
Reagan looked toward the ceiling as she took a second. “I don’t think so. Why?”
“I was wondering if I could take you somewhere.”
“Sure,” she replied with a smile.
“Don’t want to ask where?”
“I trust you,” Reagan said, as if it was the easiest statement to make.
Jill’s heart clenched and tears stung her eyes. She didn’t think she could explain at the moment how much that phrase meant to her. So instead of trying to, she wrapped her arm around Reagan’s waist and pulled her against her, burying her face in the crook of her neck.
Her voice was hoarse when she said, “Thank you.”
Reagan squeezed her hand and pulled it between her breasts. Jill fell asleep to the rhythm of Reagan’s heartbeat beneath her fingers.
