- About the Author

But the slow kiss only lasts for so long. He deepens it. I’m falling fast and hard. The ache increases and I need him even more. My entire body demands his touch. Miller lifts me off the ground. I wrap my legs around his waist as he carries me toward his room. Our lips never parting. I don’t stop until my back lies on top of the bed.
“I knew you weren’t wearing underwear,” he says, a wicked grin appears on his face. “Where should I start?”
His head ducks to capture one of my nipples with his mouth. He sucks it and nibbles it while his other hand goes down to my core. I shiver with anticipation. But he stops.
“I don’t have condoms,” he whispers.
“What happened to the always wrap up rule?” I ask frustrated. He’s got to be kidding me.
Do I care that he’s not wearing one?
“When was the last time you slept with someone without a condom?”
“What part of ‘I haven’t been with anyone since you’ is so hard for you to understand?”
“Like seriously, no one?”
He shakes his head and says, “I’m clean and it’s only been you. What about you?”
“Still on the pill and…” I shrug. “I’ve been busy.”
Miller lowers me on the bed, pushing my legs open. “Would you let me be inside you bare?”
The tip of his length is right by my entrance. I nod, pushing my hips high, inviting him. Needing him.
As he thrusts slowly inside me, he says, “Don’t move.”
We lie still. As he fills me with his thick throbbing shaft, I feel as if I’m shattering apart.
“Miller,” I whisper. “Please.”
He draws himself out slowly, pushing in at the same pace.
We kiss and we find our rhythm tonight. He fills me in all the places I’ve been empty for so long. As my orgasm begins to build, I shake and quiver. He changes the pace, pumping faster and harder. I kiss him harder, desperately as the tsunami inside me makes me explode. We both scream and as our breathing starts to calm, he says, “I love you, Claire Solis. No matter how much you hate me, it’ll always be only you.”
Forty-Four
Miller
Claire and I make love a couple more times before we fall asleep in each other’s arms. It’s so easy to get used to the feel of her body against mine. I’m addicted to her. She’s everything I need to survive. Everything and anyone else pales in comparison.
What am I going to do next?
