My whole body ignites, a bloom of jellyfish jumping to life in my heart, my stomach, my legs. The place where our lips touch is so alive with electric tingles that I wouldn’t be surprised if there actually were sparks zapping between us.
Sean’s mouth opens and his tongue brushes my upper lip, making me gasp. It creates enough of an opening for Sean to touch my tongue with his, the pressure making those jellyfish flash inside my mouth too.
All I can think about is Sean. How good he was in the water, how brave he was to push me out of the way of that truck, how kind it is that he wanted this #Fishing thing to take off so I wouldn’t have to worry, how his thighs look hugged by his Speedo, how good it feels to press my body against his. As my mind flashes to each new thought, I kiss harder, deeper. I want to do this more than just when Dominic’s around.
This has to be as good as scaling. I could never get enough of these jellyfish jolts. They’re in such a concentrated area, it’s almost overwhelming, but in the best way.
Suddenly, a whole new area starts to react. That eel region is moving and makes me pull back. Not because I don’t want it, necessarily, but because it’s a lot to experience at once. This is my first kiss, after all.
Sean’s eyes meet mine when I pull away, and he smiles. It’s lazy, relaxed and at ease, not at all what I was expecting from someone who just swam his heart out only a minute ago.
“You did it,” he breathes.
I laugh, then brush my fingers against my lips. “No, you did it!” I say. “You won.”
Sean stares at my fingers. Or maybe he’s staring past them at my mouth. “Yeah. I did.”
Add to the list of involuntary body movements this completely stupid grin bursting over my face, my lips stretching so wide they feel like they could crack.
What the actual flick is happening?
Sean gives a toothy smile of his own, and then it’s him reaching forward and pulling me into his body again, his hands at the small of my back, pushing my torso against his stomach, his lips against mine, a bulge that I can’t help but notice against my crotch.
It is sensation overload.
A pair of arms wraps around us and suddenly the fire all over my body is squeezed out.
“That was amazing,” Kavya says. She bounces up and down. “My beast bestie killed it. No one is going to be able to beat that time. And check it out.” She nods her head over my shoulder. I turn to look, but Kavya hisses, “Not all at once. We’ve got to act cool.”
I lock my gaze forward, staring at Sean as he looks behind me.
