Writer? -- asked the Princess with surprise in her voice.

Who’s that, Mother? -- asked Yara.

He’s... he’s... -- The Princess was at a loss for words.

Allow me, Princess. Hello, children, I am the Writer.

What’s a writer? --asked Gotz.

A writer is a person who writes wonderful stories.

And what do you write? -- asked Yara.

I write a lot of things, but right now I am writing a fairytale.

Are you a fairytale writer? -- asked Gotz.

You could say that... yes. I am a fairytale writer.

What fairytale are you writing? -- asked Gotz.

This one.

Which one? -- asked Yara.

This fairytale.

What fairytale? -- asked Gotz.

This fairytale. The one that we’re all a part of.

This a fairytale? -- asked Yara.

Yes, well, no, well, look... your mom and I have known each other for a very long time.

And does my dad know about this? -- ssked Bono.

Yes, your dad knows me.

And why haven’t I ever heard about you before? -- asked Bono.

Well...I um... I don’t know. I think...

Have you written many fairytales? -- asked Gotz.

No, not many.

How many? -- asked Yara.

Well... to be honest, this is the only one so far.

The only one? And you call yourself a fairytale writer? -- asked Bono.

I think you’re the writer of... a fairytale. Not a fairytale writer -- said Yara.

Can you tell me the one fairytale that you’ve written? Please? -- Gotz interrupted.

I... ummm...

It doesn’t matter if it’s bad -- said Gotz.

The thing is... I haven’t finished it yet.

You have ONE story and it doesn’t even have an ending yet? -- asked Yara.

You must not be a very good writer then -- said Bono.

It doesn’t matter, Writer, tell me what you have so far and I’ll tell you how it’s going and if I like it -- said Gotz.

Children, look at the time -- said the Princess, rescuing me from the inquisition. -- Go tell your father that the carriage left without you again. Ask him if he can take you to school today.

Yes, Mother -- said the three of them as they ran towards the castle. Gotz stopped for a moment and ran back.

If you go, leave the fairytale with Mother so that she can read it to me and I can tell you if it needs improvement -- said Gotz, who then ran away.

So those are my children -- said the Princess. -- And this concludes the live presentation of a normal morning in my life...

How are you, Princess?

How do I look?

Busy... and happy?

Yeah, somewhat busy, but very happy. They’re three beautiful children—hyperactive—but wonderful kids.

What about Prince Charming?

Mother! -- Bono came back. -- Father says he can’t take us. He says you have to.
