This is going to sound like some cheap self-help speech, but... I have the moon, the sun and the stars. I have the clouds, the air that I breathe... I have the whole world in my hands! I have my eyes, and my legs, my mouth, my ears, my hands... I’m alive! And the possibilities are endless.

You’re right, Princess... it does sounds like a cheap self-help speech... but it doesn’t make it any less true!

I remember when I was a little schoolgirl... I learned so many things! Some of them important, others... not so much, but most of the things I learned, I’ve already forgotten. They never, ever taught me that I had my life in my hands, they never told me that it was all up to me, that whatever I wanted to be or to do was up to me... that there was a project much more important than anything I could learn in school: my own life. And I’m just learning this now.

Better late than never!

Princess, can you pass me a strawberry from your side? I finished all these ones already.

The Princess turned to pick more strawberries and through the bushes she saw the face of an angry dog that started growling at them.

Of course! There just had to be a dog! -- said the Dragon, paralyzed with fear.

Easy, easy, it’s all right – she said, trying to calm the dog.

I’m talking to the Dragon! Easy, easy, -- she said, trying to calm the Dragon -- it’s all right.

The dog barked louder.

Who’s there, Killer? -- asked a man’s voice. -- Who are you barking at?

We’re finished! The dog’s name is Killer -- said the Dragon without moving a muscle.

The voice drew nearer, the Princess got down on the ground trying to hide.

Hunch down low, Dragon, maybe he won’t see us.

The Dragon tried to make himself as small as possible. The dog didn’t move but was still barking loudly.

Killer? Killer! -- yelled the voice, following the dog’s barks.

The Princess was scared, but the Dragon... the Dragon was petrified. They heard footsteps leading to where the Princess was trying to hide; the Dragon shut his eyes and crossed the fingers of all four paws. The Princess didn’t want to look up. She was staring at the ground... just like little kids do when they cover their eyes thinking that no one can see them.

Writer!

I’m sorry, but this is absurd, they’re going to find you eventually!

Shhh! Shut up! -- whispered the Dragon with his eyes shut, also just like little kids do when they cover their eyes, thinking that no one can see them. The Princess shut her eyes. The dog stopped barking.

Who are you? Why are you eating my strawberries? -- asked the voice.
