The bee whispered -- Don’t just dream about it, Princess. Dare to do it. -- He shook his tail, buzzed his wings, and a little stinger appeared on his behind. -- Sometimes curiosity and desire are stronger than courage. And, as he said this, he stung the Princess right on the nose with his little stinger.
OUCH!!! -- yelled the Dragon. -- I felt that on my nose.
The Princess stood up straight.
This is NOT THE END!
Never stop imagining all that you can be, Princess -- advised the bee as he flew away, disappearing into the blue sky.
Come on, Dragon, help me figure out a way to open this door.
No, I’m really scared.
Alright then, I’ll do it myself.
The Princess looked all around her and suddenly she saw something she hadn’t noticed before.
Have you seen the castle?
As strange as it seems, the castle was very simple. There were four huge stone walls along the perimeter of the castle and in the middle there was just one lonely tower; the tower where the Princess had been locked up.
How could I have lived in such a small place? There’s no time to waste!
She reached the gate and realized that there was a great, big, rusty lock on a great, big chain around the gate. The Princess looked around for something to open the lock with. She walked around and around the courtyard, went into and out of the tower countless times, but still couldn’t find anything. The Dragon just watched her from the middle of the courtyard.
Aren’t you going to help me, Dragon?
How can I help? I don’t have the key.
Do you enjoy being in here?
I’m more afraid to leave than to stay.
Well, at least help ME get out of here! -- pleaded the Princess.
The Dragon brought his paws to his face, looking mortified. But how?
What kind of dragon are you!? -- The frustrated Princess sat next to the Dragon and looked at the gate.
I can’t believe I’m so close to getting out of here and I can’t open the gate!
It’ll be dark soon. I’d better light the torches.
The Dragon got up and walked towards the tower. Perched high up on the wall was a huge torch. Standing on his hind legs, the Dragon reached the torch, inhaled deeply and in one strong puff created a fireball... capable of melting an old, rusty lock!
Huh?
The answer has always been right there under your nose!
Are you calling me stupid?
No, Dragon! I mean, literally, the answer is right under your nose. You can melt the chain with the fire from your nose.
Oh no!
Come on, before it gets dark.
Princess... I can’t! I really can’t. I can’t let you go out. I am very scared.
Dragon, pleeeeease -- begged the Princess.
