- Don't miss out!
He presses his hips up against my body, and heat floods my veins again.
“Those were your conditions,” I breathe.
His lips touch my neck, and I let out a moan involuntarily. He’s driving me crazy on purpose. I reach for him to pull him closer, but he pulls away.
The back door opens, interrupting us as Murph stomps into the shop. Logan turns away and gives me a wink before greeting his boss. I’m left panting against the counter, wanting to murder and screw Logan all at the same time.
Logan
Business is slow, so Murph lets me leave a little early. One of his buddies came in to cover the desk, which is a pretty typical thing for him to do.
I push away the worrying reminder that I have business with Hale to tend to at some point, but for now I have to clean up for Sierra.
I’ve had girls in my apartment before, and I normally wouldn’t give two shits about how it looks. They’re usually not there for the ambiance.
But this is Sierra, and I care about the kind of environment she’s in. Even having her at Murph’s party had me on edge. She deserves the best, and I already hate the thought of her walking in, too distracted by the humbleness of it all to want to spend any time with me.
I’m actually a really tidy guy, considering. I’m constantly cleaning the shop, and I’m barely home enough to make much of a mess, so a once-a-month cleaning haul of the single room is enough to get the job done. I must have gotten it from my brother, or having lived my entire life in someone else’s overrun and chaotic home. Finally, now that I have one of my own, I want to live in something as close to perfect as possible.
If only I treated my body the same way.
The irony is not lost on me.
So it really doesn’t take me long to get the place ready. Before she left the shop today, she said she’d come by around nine. I went to the market down the street to at least make sure I had food and drinks for her. I hope she doesn’t mind cheap beer and snacks.
I don’t even know how we’re going to watch this, so I hope she brings something. I don’t even own a TV. I must be nervous because I’m obsessing over everything.
It’s not about being around Sierra; I’ve seen her so much this week that I feel strange when she’s not around. It’s the fact that we are going to be alone, in a confined space, with nothing but time and each other’s bodies.
Damn, my dick is throbbing just thinking about it.
It’s only 8:45, and already I’m pacing.
Thank fuck, the tap on the door echoes through the apartment just after I check the clock for the tenth time. When I open it, I’m instantly hit by the delicate scent of her perfume, or soap, or whatever it is.
