STANLEY: It’s going to be worse for you if you—

RICKY: I’m done talking to you, bitch!

STANLEY: Dad, I’m sorry—

GARY: Stanley.

<silence>

RICKY: You control him like a dog. You think you’re gonna do that to me? NEVER.

GARY: Ricky, give me time. As you know, we have nothing but time on the island.

RICKY: I’m nineteen, and you have no right—

GARY: What your parents want—

RICKY: They have no right!

GARY: You’ve been on our island for over two months. Isn’t it time you gave that line a rest?

<heavy exhaling>

Ricky, YOU have no rights. You gave them up the second you brought my son into that…place. I’m going to ask you one more time, and you had better believe me when I tell you you won’t enjoy the consequences of lying…

RICKY: Jesus, just shut up and ask already.

GARY: Did you seduce my son?

RICKY: Stanley can’t even touch himself. What makes you think I’d let him touch me?

<loud clatter of a chair violently shoving backward>

GARY: ANSWER ME.

RICKY: He’s my cousin! The answer is no. I didn’t screw my own cousin.

<silence>

GARY: I’m going to move on, assuming that’s true. Your Expulsion today will be a full, honest confession. If I think you’re lying, I’ll dump you in the bunker for a week. Tell me EXACTLY what possessed you to bring Stanley into that bar.

<soft laughter>

Is something funny?

RICKY: Nope, nothing.

GARY: Looks like you’re laughing at me.

RICKY: Uncle Gary…all right, hang on to your wig.

STANLEY: It’s okay, Ricky. You can tell him.

RICKY: Oh, good, as long as I have your permission. Goddamn two-face…The first thing you gotta know is that I took Stanley to that gay bar twice, not once. You didn’t hear about the first time because Stanley actually had a good time the first go-around.

STANLEY: Ricky!

RICKY: Whoops, I’m sorry. Did I tell your dad something that was supposed to be a secret?

STANLEY: I’m gonna choke your neck off, you—!

<silence>

Sorry, Dad. I’ll be quiet.

GARY: When did it happen, this first time you went to the bar?

RICKY: After I came home for Christmas break. I was poking around Stanley’s room—don’t ask me why because I don’t remember—and I found some nudie dude magazine I thought I’d lost…I found it wedged between Stanley’s mattress and the box spring. Like it was his first time hiding something.

GARY: And you gave this filth to him?
