- THREE YEARS LATER
Too quickly, he dropped me on the floor in the living room. River was pacing around, and Devan was sitting on the edge of the couch, his shoulders curled as his elbows rested on his knees. He raised his eyebrows at Rigby carting me around like a bag of wheat, but didn’t say anything. River looked at me, then at Rigby, then kept pacing.
“Does anyone want to fill me in about what’s going on?” Devan asked lightly, his eyes bouncing between us.
“It doesn’t matter—” Rigby started, but River interrupted.
“Like hell it doesn’t.”
Devan leaned back into the couch like he was watching a daytime soap opera. Okay, I guessed this was kinda on me.
“River kissed me.” I looked at the man in question. “I kissed him back. Some reporter took a photo.”
Devan looked surprised, but still kind of confused. “Well, that's interesting, but I don’t know why we’re having a house meeting about it. You’re both consenting adults—what’s the problem?”
My cheeks heated. Actually, my whole body felt like it was one huge blush. “The problem was that earlier, uh, Rigby and I, we, uh…”
“I ate her out in the kitchen,” Rigby finished, his mouth curled into a cocky smirk. I gave him the stink eye, but then looked down at the floor, unable to meet Devan or River’s gaze.
“Did you enjoy it?”
My eyes shot to Devan’s face. Surely he wasn’t talking to me? But he was staring right at me, his eyes molten.
I swallowed. “Uh, yes?”
He cocked his head to the side. “Would you do it again?”
I wanted to have some kind of fucking principles, but I couldn’t lie to Devan. So I hedged. “Look, I don’t want to create any drama here—”
Devan was in front of me in the blink of an eye. “Do you want to do it again, Nova? Would you let Rigby eat your pussy again, if he asked?”
I wanted to look at the other men in the room, but Devan’s eyes were like magnets. I couldn’t look away. “Yes,” I breathed.
He stepped closer, and I backed up a step. And then another, but Devan followed. “And River? Did you like his mouth on yours? If he pressed you up against this wall, his lips inches from yours, would you kiss him back? Let him tongue-fuck your mouth?”
My back hit the wall. “Yes,” I said on a shaky breath.
His arm came out and pressed against the wall beside my head. “What about me, Nova Stone? If I stroked my hand down that soft body, buried my fingers inside your panties, would I find you wet? Would you want what I had to offer?”
