Sea-foam
She arrived at the country mansion in a silver limousine
She beats upon her bolted door
Slipping softly through the sky
Stepping onwards, oh, my comrades!
Surprised at the birth of stars
The Alps are a college
The day is fresh-washed and fair
The day stretches ahead – nothing but
The days grow and the stars cross over
The dusk settles at about two
THE INSTRUCTIONS come in all shapes and sizes
The moon was married last night
The mother is a weapon you load
The only legend I have ever loved is
The other country, is it anticipated or half-remembered?
The summer that I was ten
The way they tell it
There are perhaps no accidents
There was no secret
There’s the girl who clips your ticket for the train
These are the ways you make me feel
They fear we should excel their sluggish parts
Tide be runnin’ the great world over
Under her wings I live and grow and against
We are staring at the moon
We hold up the new gods of our post-electric reality
We sat on the top of the cliff
We trekked into a far country
We’re floating away in a barrel
What if this road, that has held no surprises
When all this is over
When foxes eat the last gold grape
When will I take you, I ask
When your fists are ready to paint faces
White moon setting and red sun waking
Who shall declare the joy of running!
With sails full set, the ship her anchor weighs
With swift
Yesterday, I breasted the Atlantic
Yet not these prospects, all profusely gay
You were water to me
Your world is as big as you make it
