“I can’t wait to get to know you better,” Birdie said. “I want all the deets on you and the big man. Diesel, are you playing guitar now? Serenading your better half?”

“No. Tracey wants to learn, and I was hoping Sasha might have time to show her a thing or two later.”

“I’d love to!” Sasha hugged him. “I’ve missed you, and for the record, I always knew you were one of us.”

The large man and the older blonde joined them. The woman embraced Diesel, saying something that Tracey couldn’t hear, but whatever it was, it made him smile.

He eyed the grizzly of a man. “Is this what you meant by telling the others? Putting the word out with the club?”

“They’re your family, too, son.” The man hauled him into a rough embrace, clapping him on the back.

“Brotherhood,” Sasha and Birdie said teasingly.

“Give him a break, girls. He just learned he’s got Whiskey blood,” the man said.

Diesel took Tracey’s hand, giving it a squeeze. “Tiny, Wynnie, this is my girl, Tracey. Trace—”

“I know,” Tracey interrupted. “I’m so excited to be here and meet your family.”

“Please tell me you’re not opposed to hugs.” Tiny cocked a brow.

“No, sir. I like them.”

“Get on in here, darlin’.” Tiny embraced her so tightly she could barely breathe and said, for her ears only, “I’m glad you came after him. He’s a good man.”

She warmed all over with the love they had for Diesel.

“Welcome to our home, sweetheart.” Wynnie hugged her. “I have heard so many wonderful things about you.”

“You have?” Tracey looked at Diesel.

“Not from him,” Birdie said. “Diesel doesn’t gossip. Dixie’s been raving about you forever. She knew y’all would end up together, and now I understand why. I’ve never seen Growly look so happy.”

Tracey laughed. Diesel scowled.

“Actually, it was Red who did the gossiping,” Wynnie clarified. “She thinks the world of you, Tracey. Come on, let’s introduce you around.”

Diesel put his arm around Tracey and whispered, “Sorry about all this,” as they followed Wynnie and the others.

“Don’t be. I love them, and they obviously love you.”

She was introduced to dozens of people, including the rest of the Whiskey family. They grew them handsome and rugged out there. If she’d thought Dare was a flirt, he had nothing on Doc and Cowboy, who made remarks about being available when she got tired of Diesel. Diesel’s scowl made them laugh, which led to a round of hilarious banter between the burly men. Cowboy, Dare, and Doc razzed Diesel about being their cousin, and Diesel seemed like some of the weight he’d carried on his brawny shoulders was lifted.
