- Meet Melissa
He turned them and leaned his back against the wall, sinking lower so they were eye to eye. He was so full of emotions, full of her, the truth came tumbling out. “I’m free-falling for you, baby girl.”
She touched her cheek to his, whispering in his ear, “I know.”
“You know?” He laughed and squeezed her ass.
Her grin was so big, it lit him up. “You can’t hide how you feel about me anymore. We’re too close.”
“Can you feel that I want you to get on birth control? Because now that I’ve had you with nothing between us, there’s no going back.”
Her eyes narrowed. “My body, my choice.”
“Of course, I didn’t mean—”
She shut him up with a kiss and a giggle. “I’m kidding. I have an appointment this week. We’re on the same page. But as delicious as this was, we are not taking chances like this again. You’ll have to make do wrapping it before you tap it until I’m protected.”
Free-falling didn’t begin to describe what was happening to him. “You’re the boss, baby girl.”
“Oh, I’m the boss?” Her eyes brightened. “In that case, we’d better get cleaned up, because I’m starved.”
He raised a brow, his cock twitching at the idea of being inside her mouth.
“Don’t look at me like that, you sex maniac. You’re taking me out for a burger and fries.” She traced a tattoo on his chest with her index finger, and her expression turned seductive. “If you’re lucky, you can be my dessert.”
TRACEY TOLD HIM about the bridal expo as they got dressed. If she kept strutting around in her bra and panties like a sex kitten, they wouldn’t be leaving the bedroom. “The place was mobbed, and everything was so beautiful. I think Finlay said she signed eight clients with weddings over the next six months, and Josie got a slew of orders for the holidays and a few bridal showers. Penny found a few gorgeous wedding gowns and a few places she’s considering for their babymoon.”
He tugged on his jeans and leaned against the dresser to watch her combing her wet hair in front of the bathroom mirror. “What’s a babymoon?”
“It’s a vacation couples take before their baby is born. Penny and Scott don’t want to leave their baby to go on a honeymoon right away, so it makes sense to enjoy the alone time before their baby is born.”
“Is that what you’re looking for, sparky? A white wedding, babies, and all that hoopla?” He might be falling fast, but he wasn’t headed down any aisles anytime soon.
