“Who cares?” Olivia got to her feet. “We’re all home. That’s the most important thing.”
“Yes,” Harlan said. He opened his arms. “It is.”
Olivia went to him with joy in her heart.
If she ever went missing, she had a man who would walk through hell to find her, and she had an excellent cat.
Home.
AUTHOR’S NOTE
I hope you enjoyed Lightning in a Mirror. I absolutely loved writing it. I never set out to create a Jayneverse, but as my wonderful, insightful editor, Cindy Hwang, recently pointed out to me, it seems to have come into existence. When I look back I can see that I have been exploring it for a while now. I hope you will join me.
Readers who are familiar with the Jayneverse know that I write romantic suspense in three different fictional landscapes under three different names: contemporaries as Jayne Ann Krentz, historicals as Amanda Quick and futuristics as Jayne Castle.
If you are interested in the history and mystery of Fogg Lake, be sure to catch up with the first two books in the trilogy: The Vanishing and All the Colors of Night. Both are under my Jayne Ann Krentz name.
Those who read across my three worlds will have recognized some references to the Arcane Society in Lightning in a Mirror. To learn more about Fallon Jones and his psychic detective agency, try In Too Deep, written under my Jayne Ann Krentz name. As for Vortex, it’s been a problem for Arcane as well as the Foundation for quite a while. If you’re interested to see what that crowd is up to in the future, try Guild Boss; I wrote that one under my Jayne Castle name.
As usual, for a complete list of my titles sorted by series and worlds, be sure to check out my website: jayneannkrentz.com.
