She responded with a thumbs-up, then tucked her phone away. She had a couple of trips to make with her stuff, then she could raid Cade’s fridge for something cold to drink. There wouldn’t be beer, but he always kept a couple of Cokes in the crisper drawer.
With the promise of an icy soda waiting for her, she pulled out the first suitcase.

Chapter Two
Cade sat in one of the chairs in the parlor of the hotel suite, doing his best to finish dressing quietly. He’d gathered his clothes while Nick and Rebecca were in the bath, and was reaching for his shoes when he heard his name.
He glanced up at Nick, freshly showered and wrapped in a hotel robe. “She okay?”
“Yeah, she’s fine. Thirsty, so I came out for more water.” Nick held up the bottle, then tucked it into the pocket of the hotel robe he’d donned. “What are you doing?”
Cade tugged on the shoe, his fingers flying over the laces. “You two should be alone.”
“It’s a two-bedroom suite,” Nick pointed out. “I thought you were going to stay, have breakfast with us in the morning.”
“I was planning on it,” Cade said, head still bent to his task. “But now I think it’s better if I head home.”
Home, where Olivia was. He’d managed to shuffle thoughts of her aside for most of the evening—not hard, considering he’d spent it helping Nick fulfill his girlfriend’s fantasy of being topped—and fucked—by two Doms. But now that the scene and the sex were over, he found himself eager to go.
“I’m sorry,” Nick said.
“For what?” Genuinely perplexed at the question, Cade rose to his feet. “I had fun, y’all had fun, Rebecca got to see me naked.”
He grinned, and for a second, he thought he’d pulled it off. But Nick had always been quick, and he’d always been blunt.
“Then why do you look like your cat died?”
Cade laughed and dragged a hand over his hair. He’d let it grow out over the last few months, and wasn’t quite used to finding tousled waves instead of a buzz cut. “Trust you to say the quiet part out loud.”
“If we did or said anything—” Nick began.
Cade held up a hand. “Neither of you did anything,” he said, then let his hand drop. “I promise. I just…saw what I’m missing, is all.”
He shrugged, an uncomfortable shift of his shoulders. “Not your fault.”
“You want to talk about it?”
It was tempting. But Nick had Rebecca to tend to, and he had to get it straight in his own head before he could explain it to anyone. “I’ll take a rain check. I better get home and see what’s up with Olivia.”
“Right.” Nick followed him to the door. “If she needs anything…”
