- About the Author
“Aw. That hurts my feelings, Olivia.” He lifted his free hand to brush the hair away from her face. It settled on her neck, heavier than it should be as he smiled gently with venom filled eyes. “You don’t want to hurt my feelings, do you?”
Fear slithered through her like smoke, thick and insidious. “No.”
“One kiss.” His voice was cajoling, a caress wrapped in barbed wire. “I won’t even stay for a cup of coffee.”
She hesitated, searching his face for something, anything that reminded her of her friend. But there was only this slick stranger, faintly menacing, squeezing her fingers with one hand and holding her neck with the other, waiting for either her capitulation or her defiance.
Either way, he would have his kiss.
“Okay,” she said, and swallowed the lump in her throat. “One kiss.”
“There, see?” he crooned softly, and the sly satisfaction in his tone made her shiver. “That wasn’t so hard.”
He let go of her hand to slide his arm around her waist, pulling her firmly forward so she was plastered against him from breast to knee. He slid his other hand to the back of her head, his fingertips digging hard into her scalp. She pulled away slightly, just to see what would happen if she resisted, and his hand tightened immediately.
“Now, now, none of that,” he chided softly, so close his breath danced over her skin. His eyes had narrowed and darkened, like a shadowy cartoon villain. “I thought you were going to be nice to me.”
She forced herself to relax in his hold, going as limp as possible, but the moment she stopped holding herself so rigidly, the trembles started.
“That’s better.” He smiled his devil’s smile, slow and sinister. “Open your mouth.”
The command startled her, but she let her lips fall apart, and he made a little sound of annoyance.
“Wider. Like you’re about to get a fat cock between those slutty porn-star lips.”
Shock had her jerking back, but there was nowhere to go. He laughed, low and mocking. “What, nobody ever told you that before?”
“No,” she said, and stepped to the side. But he followed, pinning her into the corner with the weight of his body, one hand still wrapped in her hair. “I’m not a slut.”
“With that mouth, baby, you’re the queen of the sluts.” He pulled his arm from around her waist—superfluous now that she was well and truly pinned—and grabbed her chin. “Then there’s the way you’re dressed. Bright pink dress, fuck me heels.”
She shook her head, wincing when the hand in her hair tightened and his fingertips dug into her chin. “I just wanted to look nice.”
“And you do,” he assured her. “Very nice. Now open your fucking mouth.”
