Taking a second to follow Jemma’s thought process, Frazer felt her chest puff out a little. “We’re moving in together.”
Jemma’s entire face lit up. “Guys! That’s amazing. Really?”
“To the south of the river.” Cora chimed in.
Frazer resisted the urge to pinch her leg.
The look on Jemma’s face turned to one of horror. Her eyes went from Cora to Frazer. “No? The south? Sister, I thought better of you.”
And with that, she straightened and walked down the aisle to her seat at the back of the plane next to Meg.
Frazer rolled her eyes. “Thanks for that.”
Cora smirked. “Anytime.”
“Now she’ll tell Tony, and we’ll have to listen to a lecture about the housing market.”
“Will your brother really do that?”
“He will. And I’ll send him a text that says how excited you are to get information on price differences in rentals and for future investments.”
Cora gasped theatrically. “You wouldn’t.”
Of course Frazer wouldn’t. That would be far too cruel. “Would too.”
“What if I said that I’m sorry?”
At Cora’s slight pout, Frazer melted. A little. “Maybe I won’t seat you next to him.”
“You’re the best.” Cora fluttered her eyelashes at her and quickly dropped a kiss on Frazer’s nose. “So, what film should we watch?”
“We’re not going to do that gross couple thing where we start the movie at the same time even though we have separate headphones, are we?”
Cora was leaning forward, already tapping through the entertainment system on the back of the chair in front of her. “Of course we are.”
Grinning, Frazer watched her flick through comedies. “Are we that gross couple?”
“Sh, Jemma will hear you.”
Frazer settled back into her chair with a laugh and waited for Cora to choose something. She was off to see two of her best friends get married. With Cora next to her. She barely felt the gnawing fear that the plane might plummet to the ground at any moment.
Cora turned to her with a wink. “Stop looking so smitten.”
“Never.”

About G Benson
About G Benson
Benson spent her childhood wrapped up in any book she could get her hands on and—as her mother likes to tell people at parties—even found a way to read in the shower. Moving on from writing bad poetry (thankfully) she started to write stories. About anything and everything. Tearing her from her laptop is a fairly difficult feat, though if you come bearing coffee you have a good chance.
When not writing or reading, she’s got her butt firmly on a train or plane to see the big wide world. Originally from Australia, she currently lives in Spain, speaking terrible Spanish and going on as many trips to new places as she can, budget permitting. This means she mostly walks around the city she lives in.
