“No. You don’t know my brother very well if you think that.”

“Good. We’ve been counting the days.”

“It’s like Christmas for you guys, isn’t it?”

Jay smiled and shrugged. “What do you want me to say? I’m not sure I can think of anything hotter.”

“Do you play twist the bedsheets with Dean’s friend Raphael?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” With a mischievous quirk in his lip, Jay followed Asher to the counter.

We registered and got the keys to our room. Jay followed us up, but we didn’t allow him to enter, which he found amusing.

“You don’t trust me?”

Asher touched his nose. “Bingo. You’re sly and sneaky, and I’m onto you.”

“I’d never compromise your privacy. I have hard lines as well.”

“Well, you’ll understand, for our peace of mind, you’ll not come in our room until tomorrow night.”

“All right, fine. Come find me in room 408 when you’re ready. We’ll go over tomorrow’s schedule. Oh, by the way”—he rapped on the door to our room—“one bed in there. King-sized. You’re welcome.” Then he winked and strutted to the elevator.

“We’ll come find you in ten minutes,” Asher called after him.

Jay waved over his shoulder. “Take your time. No rush.”

“Did he think we’d give him a sneak peek?” I asked.

“He was hopeful. Probably would have offered cash on the spot to see it too, but I don’t want him thinking we’ll bend over at his whim. The Skype thing was the only bonus they’re getting.”

“Come on. I wanna see this room,” I said, using the card to unlock the door.

The suite was gorgeous, with a separate living room and master bedroom. Sliding doors opened to a double-wide balcony overlooking the Hollywood Hills in the distance. It was decorated with its own patio set and outdoor minibar. The room was bright and elegant, with its sheer curtains and cream and wood color contrast.

“Lifestyles of the rich and famous,” Asher said as he spun and took it in with a quizzical eye.

I laughed. “Feels familiar, doesn’t it?”

“What?”

“The lifestyle. The room. Didn’t we stay here once when Dad dragged us along for a business trip or something?”

“I don’t know. Maybe. If we did, we were little.”

“It’s nice. I like it.”

“It’s gorgeous. And this room is all for us.” He wiggled his brows.

I hummed. “Save those dirty thoughts. We have to meet up with Jay and figure out shit for tomorrow.”

Asher didn’t answer as he continued to scan the suite. There was a stocked bar and a small kitchen area. When he entered the bedroom, he whistled. “Check. This. Place. Out!”
