Eban didn’t look like he missed silk or lace. His gaze held nothing but admiration.
He traced a blunt finger over the top of her pale flesh. “You’re very pretty, you know. I thought that when I first saw your photograph. It’s even more true now.”
His eyes met hers. His finger ran over her chest to her shoulder and slipped the strap aside. “Oops.” One side of his lips kicked up as he moved to the other side. “Oops again.”
She loved the playful side of the usually serious law enforcement officer. He leaned forward with a grin, dipped his head to nuzzle the sensitive skin above her breasts. The scrape of his beard had her toes curling. He nudged the cup of her bra down and slid his tongue over her nipple.
She closed her eyes as she absorbed the absolute pleasure of that sensation. She rolled onto her back and arched up against his mouth.
His hand eased beneath her to undo the clasp of her bra and he pulled it off and threw it aside. She liked the feel of his large hand on her bare skin, the feel of his strong arms lifting her to his mouth so he could pleasure her.
“I like that a lot.”
He moaned a reply as she sank her hands deep into his thick, black hair.
Tingles of pleasure shimmered through her body. He moved from one breast to the other and she couldn’t believe how amazing it felt.
He was being incredibly gentle with her, which she appreciated.
She traced the contours of his back, felt his muscles ripple beneath her fingers. Emboldened, she moved to the front of his jeans and flipped open the button, undid his zipper and eased her hand over the rigid length of his erection.
He stilled and then lifted his mouth to whisper. “I guess I should have explained that I have a plan of how to go about this. You’re skipping ahead.”
“You have a plan?” She smiled. “I like the idea that you’ve given this some thought”—truly she did—“but I feel like this is a dynamic situation that needs input from more data sources.” She squeezed the length of him, and he shuddered in response.
“You might be right.” He kissed her mouth, kissing her harder and deeper than before. He pulled back again. “But I want to make this good for you, in case we have to stop.”
She touched his face in acknowledgement. She wanted him to be driven wild by passion, but she recognized there was the distinct possibility she would freak out and ruin the whole moment if he did. “I know what they did was violence not sex and it gets annoying always being the victim, but I have no other reference to compare it to.”
He brushed the hair away from her face and stared down at her. “You want me to be your comparison?”
She gave a soft smile. “It’s important to gather good data.”
