  31. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Thank you to my editor, Kieran Scott Viola, who shares my joy for all things Anne and made this writing process such a joyful romp, as all writing processes should be.

Thank you to the whole team at Hyperion who worked on this book and helped Anne come to life!

Thank you to my agent, Charlotte Sheedy, for everything.

This book is a tribute to the joy the story of Anne of Green Gables has brought to me and countless other readers over the decades. I am very grateful this book exists, and thank you to Lucy Maud Montgomery for writing it.

Thank you to Grace Ellis, Kim Trusty, Lukas Blakk, Cory Silverberg, and the countless other writers and artists who have been nice enough to let me reach out to them for support and advice.

Thank you to my queer communities for helping make me into the artist I try to be today.

I have tried to give you as much information on all of Anne’s favorite music and theater productions as possible without making this book seem like a wiki. Thank you to all the artists (including Sylvester, ABBA, and Lipps, Inc.) who made the music that fills my soul. I highly recommend, if you haven’t already, listening to all these tracks. They are life changing.

Thank you to Canada, my home forever no matter what.

The GORGEOUS cover of this book was designed by Marci Senders. The figures were illustrated by Shirley Zhou. Type and background were illustrated by Jyotirmayee.
