At the time I was frustrated, angry, and bitter. I had no right to expect you to look out for TaTa. She signed her own death certificate the day that she became an informant. Isn’t it funny how we used to run around saying that the game chose us, when in reality we’re the ones that chose this game. Even though we knew the extreme lows, we loved playing for the highs, such as the cash, cars, and clothes. A few days ago I heard that Jay-Z song “Allure” and thought of us. Especially when he says, “But the Allure of the game, keeps calling your name.”
That one line was so powerful, because every since the first run we ever made we have been addicted to this life. Hopefully my time in here will rehabilitate me. I’m not going to bore you with this jail talk because you and I have heard it all before. We both know more than likely I’ll step out of here four years from now and step right back into the game.
I hope you can find enough forgiveness in your heart for me to write back. I know a visit would be too much to ask for considering how things ended between us. Anyway, kiss the kids for me and tell everyone that I said hello.
Love always, Eisani
P.S. Thanks for looking out for my mom, paying my attorney, and putting all that cash on my books. I know that you wanted me to believe it was all Kennedy, but I know that it was you too.

Elated that Eisani had reached out to her, Kisa wiped tears of joy from her face. She folded the letter, placed it in her pocket, and rushed to her study to write back. Sitting at her desk Kisa pulled out her stationery and pen, but then quickly put them away. There was so much Kisa wanted to say that a letter just would not suffice. She cut on her computer, logged on to US Airways’ website, and booked a flight to New York for that upcoming Friday. Staring at her flight itinerary on the screen, Kisa smiled. I’m on my way, cousin.
