My cock was throbbing, fiercely leaking precum, and I soon grew frantic with the need to bring us together.

I gripped her hips and lifted, pulling her to me as I thrust inside her.

I fucked her with all the emotion that I couldn’t use words to convey.

Held her until she was voiceless, her body limp with satisfaction.

Then I tucked her against me, held her in my arms as she slept.

Felt that satisfaction of that came with knowing that she was safe, and that she was with me.

Kayla thought this was about money, about saving face, and maybe I had convinced myself of that.

But it wasn’t.

I couldn’t care less about the debt and would tell her so tomorrow.

And maybe one day, I’d be brave enough to tell her how I felt about her.

When I woke up, I nestled deeper into the plush bedding.

This definitely wasn’t my bed.

I think the sheets on my bed now were the ones I’d brought from my college apartment, but even when they were fresh out of the pack, they hadn’t held a candle to these.

I felt myself smiling, thinking about Elias and his little frills.

The man had the nicest towels I had ever felt, and these linens were divine as well.

I pulled the blankets tighter around myself, feeling warm and safe.

I hadn’t forgotten about my father, about what was out there, but it felt good to lie here still, calm for just a few moments longer.

Nature’s call and the scent of coffee forced me to get up.

I got out of bed, found the T-shirt that was much too tight and put it on, and after a few minutes in the bathroom, I went to the kitchen.

Elias had to put on shorts but was bare chested, his broad back to me.

“Here you go,” he said, turning around and extending a mug to me.

I took it from him, then smiled when he gave me a quick peck on my wrist.

“Drink up. I know how you are without your coffee,” he said.

“And how’s that?” I asked, my brow arched.

“Like that,” he responded.

I smiled then took a sip of the coffee, surprised that it was perfect.

I took half a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee, something I wouldn’t have expected Elias to know.

“You in the mood for crepes?” he asked.

“I need to get to the hospital, so I don’t have time to go anywhere,” I said.

“Who said anything about going somewhere?” he responded.

“Then how will we have crepes?”

He looked at me, incredulous. Then he said, “Drink your coffee, and watch a master work.”

I laughed then watched as he poured batter into the pan and made four perfect crepes, two of which he filled with eggs and ham, the other two with berries.
