- ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The sound of the drill was loud enough to drone out the music but not loud enough to dull the screams that filled the room. Blood and once tender flesh were flung around the room. Some of the blood hit me in the face, and I picked up the napkin that my drink had been sitting on and wiped it off. The bright red streak was a sharp contrast to the white napkin.
My cock stood again as the screams reached a whole new pitch, and blood pooled on the floor.
Jackie’s eyes locked with mine as she screamed, “help me.”
I cupped my ear and pretended that I couldn’t hear her. She screamed louder, making my lips curl up in a maniacal smile. Tonight had turned out to be quite enjoyable, after all. I sat back in the chair and reveled in the rest of the show with my cock in one hand and drink in the other.
Chapter 9
KIRBY
I glanced around at the people passing by that were giving Peter and me a wide birth. It started because he wanted me to come over tonight, and of course, I had to tell him that I couldn’t because I had to work.
“I can’t believe you took a job at a café,” Peter said.
The look of disgust on his face made it obvious what he thought about my decision. I ground my teeth together and kept my face calm, but I couldn’t keep the anger out of my voice. “What does it matter to you if I got a job?”
Peter stepped in close, his body language threatening. Instinctively, I took a step back even though he’d never hit me. There was an edge to him that I didn’t trust when he got like this.“I don’t want a girlfriend that is working at some café even if they do have great coffee. It’s a bad image for my family and me, and you should’ve thought of that before you ran out and made that decision,” he said, lowering his voice, but the heat in his tone was still very evident.
My mouth fell open, and I had the sudden urge to claw his eyes out of his head.
“Are you kidding me?” I couldn’t even form the sentence I wanted to say.
I hated that about myself. Whenever I wanted to tell someone off, the words simply didn’t form until hours later, and then it was too late. I envied those that could come up with amazing comebacks on the fly.
“No, I’m not kidding.” Peter glared down at me.
“What’s going on here?” I internally groaned as Mother came walking down the hallway, her low flats making a dull thud with each step.
I didn’t want to deal with her and Peter right now, but my luck had always been terrible, so why would this situation be any different?
