- ABOUT THE AUTHOR
- Stalk Me Links
“I love lots of syrup. Would you mind if I got a few more of these little bottles,” I asked as the door jingled and I could hear more people arriving, but didn’t give them much thought.
“For sure, comin’ right up.”
I turned my attention back to buttering my waffles when the waitress squealed a little and began laughing as she apologized all over the place. I glanced up and sucked in a sharp breath as the woman I was searching for just collided with the waitress. I only caught a glimpse of her face before she stepped behind the half-wall partition, but it was her. Now, the question became, were those unique eyes real, or were they a lie?
I pulled the collar up on my work shirt and quickly turned away so she didn’t see me but kept watch on her reflection in the window. My heart beat a little harder as the predator in me laughed with glee at finding my prey.
“What the hell? Watch where you’re going. You almost spilled hot coffee all over my girlfriend. You’re a useless excuse for a waitress.”
“Peter, it’s fine,” my girl said to the guy, who was obviously an asshole.
The guy stood with his hands on his hips, accentuating the designer suit he was wearing. This was who she chose to date? This fake husk of a man was nothing more than a whiny, spoiled brat that lived underneath a false bravado. I’d have him screaming like a stuck pig before I even had him on my table. I looked at my hand, wondering why it hurt, and realized that I was holding the knife so hard that the handle was digging into my palm.
“No, it’s not fine. I told you this place was shit and cheap. I don’t know why you insisted on coming here.”
The violet-eyed ray of sunshine stood up straight, and as she did, I could see her eyes over the wall.
“That’s enough, Peter. This is a great spot with amazing food, and you’re being unnecessarily rude.”
I could feel the fire in her words, not the ones she did say, but the ones she left out, and my interest piqued a little more. She had a bright fire inside her, and I couldn’t help wondering how much she’d fight with my hand wrapped around her throat. My cock tingled with the same joyous sensation it did when I found a new project to play with, but there was more to this than what was normal for me. The possibilities and images that were playing out in my mind were like an exotic ballet.
