  43. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
  44. Stalk Me Links

Even though I knew it would piss Peter off, I couldn’t resist as I crossed my arms once more and stated the obvious. “You’re the one that swerved with my hand an inch from your crotch. Besides, maybe his lights just burned out too.”

CAIN

I backed the tow truck into the front of the garage and flicked off the engine. I sat and drummed my finger on the top of the steering wheel as I waited for the door to finish closing and was plunged into the complete black of the windowless space.

Eyes so unique and delectably different played through my mind. They very easily could be contacts or just a reflection from the dull lighting, but I didn’t think so. I couldn’t say why, but an unusual surge raced through my body as I locked eyes with those violet beauties. I didn’t have that color in my collection. They were like a rare gem and worth my time hunting down.

On the plus side, the elderly man I’d stopped to help actually got what he paid for and then proceeded to thank me enough to make a broken record seem less annoying. Thanks to my parents’ early demise and insurance policies, I didn’t need the money. But tax returns looked much better when you actually showed income from a business.

Getting out of the truck, I flicked the door closed on Petunia and made my way toward the interior house door. I didn’t need the light to find the handle. I’d memorized every room and noticed immediately when something had been moved. I’d spent an entire year with my eyes closed, pretending to be blind. My parents were aghast that I’d do such a thing, and the doctor called it a phase when they asked. In reality, I was training myself. The darkness was where I knew I was going to live, and now here I was with a talent that made it extremely easy to stalk my prey even when they thought they couldn’t be found.

The television was on as I pushed open the door. The unusual combination of a modern comedy mixed with screams was loud. Grabbing a pair of beers, I wandered into the rec room to find Abel laughing at a random sitcom on one television while jerking off to a video of one of our kills on a second television.

“Interesting combo,” I said dryly and handed over the beer.

“Couldn’t make up my mind.” He shrugged as he continued to work his cock. “In the end, I decided, why limit myself?”

I flopped down into my identical recliner beside him, my eyes flicking back and forth from one image to the other and hated to admit it, but the dual visuals were entertaining.
