About the Author

Mary Frame is a full-time mother and wife with a full-time job. She has no idea how she manages to write novels except that it helps being a dedicated introvert. She doesn’t enjoy writing about herself in third person, but she does enjoy reading, writing, dancing, and damaging the eardrums of her coworkers when she randomly decides to sing to them. She lives in Reno, Nevada, with her husband, two children, and a border collie named Stella.

A Note From Mary

Thank you so much for reading Jane’s story! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. As someone who has struggled with social anxiety throughout my life, it was fun and also sort of cathartic to write a character that I could relate to on that level. The plot device of a time loop definitely lends itself to self-reflection and change, forcing the character to turn inward and grow out of self-defeating thoughts and habits. Honestly, I think it helped my anxiety a little, and I hope it helps you, too!

I don’t normally do this kind of thing, but music is important to this story sooo if you want to hear some of the songs mentioned in this story (along with music relating to anxiety and finding peace and joy within) check out the Spotify playlist below! Fair warning, Sprinkle Me by E-40—the song Jane wakes up to every day—is an old school rap song, and therefore may offend those with more delicate sensibilities ;)
